Not to be the one saying it but we jinxed it, lads 🙁
Just when that unbeaten run started looking really good we lost to Oldham of all teams and made the situation difficult for ourselves. Our defense has seen better days and if we are to get anything from this season the boys at the back need to start producing.
Absolutely agree with the defense comments, 3 clean sheets in the last 20 matches in all competitions, not something a team targeting the top 7 should do and if we don’t improve defensively in the next couple of games we could be all done for in terms of promotion.
For me the game highlighted how poor we still are defensively. The back line needs an overhaul in the summer.
